TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Your item(s) will always be transported in appropriate packaging so that it reaches the recipient in perfect condition, all year round, whether in winter or summer.

 


Shipping costs of €5.25 will be added to all orders, which will be offered by Diogo Vaz for purchases over €39.

 


Only orders with a delivery address in mainland Portugal will be accepted.

 

 


2. Diogo Vaz reserves the right not to dispatch its item(s) in the event of specific weather conditions which it considers unsuitable and which could in any way jeopardize the good quality and presentation of the product, in which case it will notify the customer as soon as possible.
 

3. It is essential that someone is present to receive your order, as we only guarantee the quality of the product up to the time of delivery. After that time, we cannot be held responsible for the quality and/or presentation of the product.

 

 

4. If there is no one at the address indicated to receive the order within the time set, the courier will try to contact the number provided on the purchase order in order to arrange another delivery time/date. If it is impossible to contact you by telephone, a notice will be left in your mailbox with a number to call in order to reschedule the delivery.
In any event, as the product will be delivered outside the time limit, Diogo Vaz is not responsible for its quality and presentation.

 

5. If it is not possible to deliver within one week, for reasons attributable to the customer, we will consider it definitively impossible to deliver the product, without the right to any refund.

 

6. The customer's details must be filled in completely and correctly. Filling them in incorrectly or incompletely may result in the order not being dispatched or prevent successful dispatch and delivery.

EXPEDITION

Orders will be delivered within three working days of confirmation of payment.

Transportation.

 

1. Chocolate should always be stored in a cool, dry place and should not be exposed to the sun, heat or humid environments. That's why we take special care when transporting it, especially in the summer.

 

2. We guarantee all conditions during transportation, even at high external temperatures, up until the delivery deadline. After that time, we cannot be held responsible for the quality and presentation of the product. This is why we say that it is essential that someone is present at the recipient's address to receive your order (even if not directly from the recipient).

MEIOS DE PAGAMENTO

1. Once your order has been completed, you can pay by credit card.

RETURNS POLICY

1. Products purchased in the online store at https://diogovaz.pt are final sales and cannot be returned by the customer, except in situations where damage to the product is proven, in which case Diogo Vaz will exchange the product or issue an exchange voucher in our store.

 

2. The exchange request must be made by email to lx_shop@diogovazchocolate.com detailing full name, order number and must include photographic records of the damaged product. In the event of an exchange, Diogo Vaz will send the customer a new product, which will be delivered upon collection of the damaged product.

PRIVACY AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In general, the Diogo Vaz website can be visited without revealing any personal information. There are, however, areas of the site where we require users to provide their personal data in order to take advantage of the services available there.

All Diogo Vaz employees or duly authorized representatives are bound by an obligation of confidentiality with regard to the data to which they have access as part of the operations of the respective computer base, and are duly informed of the importance of complying with this legal duty of confidentiality and are responsible for complying with this obligation of confidentiality.

 

The data provided by users will only be used to carry out the services selected by the user for which they were provided, and will not be added to any lists, made available to third parties or used to send information unrelated to Diogo Vaz's activity and services.
